Graduate Students: I am not actively recruiting PhD students for Fall 2025. However, I may consider accepting a student that has exceptional qualifications. If you have a strong background in any of the following, feel free to send me an email: 1) tropical cyclone climatology and/or hazard modeling, 2) hydrodynamic storm surge modeling, 3) multivariate statistical analysis and/or AI/ML applied to weather or flooding.
Post-Docs: Motivated PhD students with a strong record of independent research are encouraged to apply to the Rice University Academy of Fellows (RUAF) program, which is a 2-year fellowship program to conduct interdisciplinary research.
